In these times of crushing inequality, it is troubling to read a letter whining about inadequate state aid to our wealthy community. This in a town with a history of knowingly taking state and federal aid for a population it never served and even now seemingly only looking to Devens as a potential cash cow. Recently the state has finally begun to progressively adjust some of its aid to account for a town’s ability to pay. It should be both understandable and proper that Harvard’s aid has declined. Dig a little deeper, Harvard, you’ll hardly feel it.
