Every Tuesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., a knowledgeable volunteer will be in the computer lab at Hildreth House to answer technical questions. Call 978-456-4120 in advance if you need specific help.
On the road with the COA
Call the Council on Aging office at 978-456-4120 for more information and to sign up for trips. Call soon to reserve a spot.
- Friday, Sept. 19: The COA will travel to the Bourne Scallop Festival at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth for a dinner of fried scallops or herb-roasted chicken, an arts and crafts show, and entertainment. The van will leave Hildreth House at 8:30 a.m. The cost is $30, which includes the cost of dinner; payment is due by Sept. 5.
- Monday, Sept. 29: A trip to Jaffrey, N.H., will take participants on a horse-drawn hayride through the countryside near Silver Ranch Stables. Lunch will follow at Kimball Farm, also in Jaffrey. The van will leave Hildreth House at 9:45 a.m. The cost is $25, plus the cost of lunch; payment is due by Sept. 15.
