Harvard Farmers’ Market
The Harvard Farmers’ Market will take place Saturday, Aug. 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Hildreth Elementary School. In addition to many returning vendors, new participants this year will include Piantedosi Bread Company, Muddy Water Coffee Roasters, Lilac Hedge Farm, Westward Orchards, and Venier Forge Knife Sharpeners. Legacy of Clara Sears
Fruitlands Museum will host an illustrated slide lecture about the founder of the Fruitlands Museum Saturday, Aug. 23, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the museum. Dr. Cecilia Macheski will present “Clara Endicott Sears: A Biography and a Legacy,” which will illuminate the mercurial energy, diverse interests, and unique vision of museum founder Clara Endicott Sears. Free with admission, which is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, $5 for children ages 5 to 13, and free for members and children under 5.
Job Fair
The North Central Career Centers will hold a job fair Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Devens Common Center, 31 Andrews Parkway in Devens.
