Trip to D.C. is open to all
The sign-up deadline for the COA trip to Washington, D.C. has been extended to Feb. 10. This trip is open to any and all, not just seniors.
To date, 21 people have signed up, and there is room for 31 more. A minimum of 30 is needed for the trip, which is arranged by Diamond Tours. The bus leaves Harvard on April 11 and returns on April 14. The four-day, three-night trip includes round-trip motor coach transportation, three nights’ lodging, six meals, and two full days of guided tours of sites such as Capitol Hill, the Lincoln Memorial, Arlington National Cemetery, and the Smithsonian, to name only a few. The cost is $370 for double occupancy and $480 for single occupancy. Price includes all gratuities for the motor coach driver and tour guides.
Stitch & Chat group
Come up to the Hildreth House for the Stitch & Chat group for camaraderie and fun. Bring along an unfinished project of any kind and enjoy getting together with others.
