Sandra (Gabrielsen) Reisert, 70, of Fitchburg, formerly of Harvard, died Sept. 11, 2013, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. She was born in Clinton March 19, 1943, the daughter of the late Earle and Eleanor (Wheeler) Gabrielsen. Sandra grew up in Harvard and was a graduate of the Bromfield School Class of 1961. For more than 41 years, she was a waitress at The Old Mill Restaurant in Westminster. Sandra loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing Scrabble.
Sandra is survived by her son Michael D. Reisert of Fitchburg; daughter Angela K. Coughlin of Northbridge; brothers Alan Gabrielsen of Harvard and Scot Gabrielsen of Cambridge; sister Sheila Cregar of Harvard; and four grandchildren, Skott Cameron of Stuttgart, Germany, and Tyanna Lee Reisert, Joanna Marie Reisert, and Jayla Eleanor Reisert, all of Fitchburg.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 11 a.m. at Bellevue Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to Loaves & Fishes, P.O Box 1, Ayer, MA 01432.
