Bromfield graduate, Cape Cod fisherman

Robert Glenn Firth, 61, of Eastham, formerly of Harvard and Lunenburg, died unexpectedly August 7, 2013, at Cape Cod Hospital.
Born in Attleboro on New Year’s Day 1952, Glenn was the son of the late Robert A. and Carolyn Firth. He graduated from the Bromfield School in 1970 and Franklin Institute of Technology in 1972. Glenn owned his own automotive business for many years before moving to Cape Cod to become a fisherman. He passionately enjoyed boating, fishing, and playing golf.
Glenn leaves his son Jay Firth and Jay’s girlfriend, Kim Plevock, of Lunenburg; his daughter Kelli and her husband Gabe Whitman of Lutz, Fla.; daughters Jamie and Kaylee Firth of Wellfleet; sister Lori and husband Jay Jackson of Cotuit; nephews Ryan and Brett Fairbanks; and his former wife Gail and her husband, Ted Kulpinski, of Lunenburg.
Burial will be private at the wishes of the deceased. Nickerson Funeral Home is arranging cremation.
