Concord resident, former Bromfield coach
Jeannette L. (Titus) Loomer, 87, of Concord died Thursday July 18, 2013, in Danvers. Born in Ayer on March 25, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Titus and Marion (Totman) Titus.
From 1954 until 1964, Jeannette coached basketball, softball, and field hockey at the Bromfield School. She worked as a switchboard operator at GenRad Corporation in Concord from 1971 until 1991, where she also managed the Grape Company, a sponsored employee activity plan.
Jeannette is survived by her two sons, Carl Richard Loomer of Portland, Ore., and Keith Edward Loomer of North Conway, N. H.; four grandsons, Jason Loomer of North Brookfield, Joshua Loomer of Athol, Zachary Loomer and Jesse Loomer, both of Lyman, Maine; five great-grandchildren; her siblings Vernon Titus of Belmont, Calif.; Ernest Titus of Roseville, Calif.; Clarence Titus and Alice Milson, both of Ayer; and Eloise Bebout of Beverly.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dee Funeral Home of Concord.
