Sculpture student, son of Harvard man
Livingston “Liv” Irene Pangburn, 22, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013, doing what he loved—riding his bicycle with the sun in his face.
Liv was a loving son to Claudia W. Hoover of Newton and David A. Pangburn of Harvard, and brother to his twin, Margaret, of Newton, and his late brother, Nate. He was a devoted partner to his dear Michaela Schwartz of Brookline.
A sculpture student at Hampshire College, Liv’s spirit will remain an integral and important part of the LBGTQ community in the Greater Boston and Western Massachusetts areas. He is remembered for his calm and gentle presence, his loving connection to nature, and his thought-provoking art.
An Art of Grieving Gathering will be held Saturday, June 8, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Eliot Church, 474 Centre St., Newton Corner. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
