At 2:58 p.m. a woman called to report that, while moving out of a residence on Old Shirley Road, she had been assaulted by the resident who was moving in. The case is under investigation.
Wednesday, Feb. 20
At 7:34 p.m. an Ayer Road resident called to report that jewelry was missing from the home, possibly taken during a past burglary. The case is under investigation.
Thursday, Feb. 21
At 8:30 a.m. a woman stopped at the station to speak with an officer about a family matter. The ambulance transported a man to Nashoba Valley Medical Center from a South Shaker Road residence at 10:18 a.m. At 11:43 p.m. a caller reported that he had just hit a deer with his pickup truck while traveling on Ayer Road. The truck was damaged and had to be towed. The deer did not survive.
Friday, Feb. 22
A woman was taken by ambulance from the Westward Orchards parking lot to Marlborough Hospital at 2:14 p.m. At 10:06 p.m. a caller reported suspicions about a tall man wearing dark clothes walking on Pinnacle Road. Police checked the area, but did not locate the man.
Saturday, Feb. 23
At 2:11 a.m. an officer on patrol stopped to investigate a car parked in the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. The driver of the car told the officer he was looking for a restroom. At 3:29 a.m. an officer on patrol stopped a car for speeding on Ayer Road, and subsequently arrested the driver, Michael Cormier, 31, of Leominster, for operating under the influence; it was his second offense. Cormier was released the next day on $340 bail. At 12:59 p.m. a caller reported that a car being driven erratically had just turned onto Interstate 495, southbound. Harvard police notified Mass. State Police to be on the lookout for the car.
Sunday, Feb. 24
At 1:06 a.m. Bolton police called the station, asking Harvard police to watch for a man who may have been walking to Harvard from East End Road in Bolton. They called back later to report that they had found the man. At 6:41 a.m. a caller reported that his car had gone off the roadway and into a snowbank on Ayer Road. There were no injuries, but there was some damage to the car. An officer waited at the scene until a tow truck arrived. At 7:10 a.m. police were called to the scene of another accident on Ayer Road, where a driver had lost control of a car and gone off the road into a utility pole. The driver was taken by ambulance to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. A Murray Lane resident called at 11:19 a.m. to report that an unfamiliar car was parked along the roadway across the street from his house. Police say the car belonged to someone who was going for a walk in the area. At 3:02 p.m. police received a report of a car off the road and in a snowbank on Still River Road. There were no injuries, but there was minor damage to the car. Police stood by until a tow truck arrived.
Monday, Feb. 25
At 1:40 a.m. an officer on patrol stopped to investigate an occupied car parked in the Dunkin’ Donuts lot. The driver told the officer he had pulled off the road to rest and was just about to leave. The ambulance took a woman to UMass Medical Center in Worcester from a Stow Road residence at 4:53 a.m. A woman called the station at 7:45 a.m. to report that she had noticed damage to a utility pole across the street from her house on Old Littleton Road and said it could have been from a possible hit-and-run accident the night before. Police contacted the utility company to examine the pole. At 8:29 a.m. police were called to a home on Oak Hill Road for a domestic disturbance, and arrested a 16-year-old boy for domestic assault. The youth was taken to Worcester Juvenile Court for arraignment. At 3:19 p.m. police delivered a message from the Lowell police to a resident on Trail Ridge Way. A resident on Still River Road called at 11:10 p.m. to complain about a barking dog in the area. Police did not locate a dog when they arrived to investigate.
