Born in Harvard, lived and worked in California

Eileen Sullivan, 57, formerly of Harvard, passed away from an illness in California. Her sisters Patricia Bolles, Maura Dudley, and her brother Rob Sullivan were with her.

She was the fifth of six children to Ruth and William Sullivan of Harvard. At the age of 26, she moved to San Francisco, later settling in Mill Valley, Marin County. Eileen worked for the architectural firm of her brother-in-law, Peter Bolles, then for a chairman of the board of a national bank. In 1989, she worked for Make A Circus before going to Pixar in its early days. Eileen spent the last 14 years working for a small health-care consulting firm as a bookkeeper and personal assistant. She was a tremendous asset to every organization she worked for.

Eileen formed deep and lasting friendships at each stage of her life and loved traveling the world with friends.  She was always volunteering for her causes and had a love for animals. Eileen was talented in many crafts and had a love for great food. Eileen will be greatly missed by her siblings, her many nieces and nephews, a great niece and nephew, and her many friends. A celebration of Eileen’s life was held Dec. 12, 2012, in San Anselmo, Calif., and a private burial will be in the spring in Harvard.
