Kamryn Stecyk, 14, of Harvard was among 38 Bluefish Swim Club members to qualify for and compete at the 2012 New England Swimming Senior Championship Meet, Dec. 13 through 16, at Boston University, where several hundred of New England’s top 13-year-old and older swimmers competed.
Kamryn earned 87 points, contributing to the Bluefish Swim Club’s overall win. She competed in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke, the 100- and 200-yard fly, and the 200- and 400-yard individual medley relays. The Bluefish teams won the 400-yard medley relay and took second place in the 200-yard medley relay.
