The final weekend of the Harvard Farmers’ Market is this coming Saturday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon. Please take a few minutes to join us in thanking our vendors for helping to make our market such a fabulous community gathering spot throughout these past months. We want them to remember one of our most successful seasons and hopefully return next year!
While you’re there, check out the many great gifts to purchase and tuck away for the holiday season. Handmade knives, body scrubs, essential oils, dog treats, healthy cleaning products, honey, local wine, freshly roasted coffee beans, and more will be available. You can also place orders for fresh chicken, beef, cookie towers, boxes of homemade candy, marshmallows, flowers, and more, all to be delivered throughout the holidays. Groove to our sweet local band Back to the Garden and taste delicious local delights from our guest chefs Kristen Thibeault and Kelly Bollman.
Our ‘Carrots and Community’ T-shirts and all our vintage tees will be on sale for $6; the proceeds from this year’s T-shirts, designed by nine-year-old Meredith Greayer and sponsored by Harvard Chiropractic, go directly to support the operations of the Harvard Farmers’ Market.
We want to send a huge thank you to our community sponsors: Dr. Audrey Tracey, Ludwig Farm Family Insurance, and Harvard Chiropractic. Also to the Market angels who come each Saturday to set up in the wee hours of the morning, work the booth throughout the day, and close down each afternoon, plus to our event planners, guest chefs, and rockin’ Market bands. You are all so amazing! This year we also want to extend our thanks to Kim Manning and team for their efforts in the Farm to Friend program and to the backyard farmers who donated produce and more; your dedication to feeding our community-in-need is admirable!
Most importantly, we want to thank every member of our community who made the effort to come down and support our local businesses. We know it is not easy to carve out a few minutes during these hectic Saturday mornings! The old adage “it takes a village” has proven true again and again; you are what makes our community such an amazing place in which to live. We are honored to be a part of it.
