As with most community newspapers, the Harvard Press is printed only once a week. While we appreciate that our readers eagerly snatch the paper off newsstands each Friday, we’re sure many of you wish you had fresh information about local goings-on throughout the week.
Now you do. We’ve debuted a new feature on our website, www.harvardpress.com, called “Just In.” It is situated at the top of the site in the right-hand column, and we’ll post announcements and other updates there almost as soon as we get them. Often this will consist of press releases and other notices from community organizations. This will help these organizations publicize their worthwhile events and help you, the readers, plan your schedule without having to wait until Friday to know what’s going on.
We encourage those interested in town events to check the Harvard Press online each day. For Twitter users, follow our feed at @harvardpress. Just In postings will bear the hashtag “#hpjustin.”
As always, the best way to send notices, press releases, and news tips to the Harvard Press is by email: editor@harvardpress.com.
