  • Thursday, Oct. 4. The Boston Symphony will rehearse its evening performance, and the Council on Aging will be there to watch. This is a real rehearsal, which may include stops by the conductor and changes to the music. It is preceded by an informal discussion outlining the individual pieces to be heard. The van will take the group door to door for a cost of $20, which includes admission. Lunch will follow at the Cheesecake Factory nearby. The group will leave at 8 a.m. and should be back by 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 10.
