I would like to thank the Harvard Schools Trust and the League of Women Voters for the thoughtful consideration they showed in rescheduling the Flea Market this year. The traditional date, Saturday of the Columbus Day weekend, conflicted with the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur.
I sincerely appreciate the respect accorded to those who observe this very solemn day. By holding the market on the following Saturday, my family, together with many others, was able to enjoy the event.
