At 2:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting domestic abuse at a home on Old Littleton Road. As a result, police arrested one man for domestic assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The victim was treated by an EMS from Boxborough, police say. At 10:26 a.m., police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Ayer Road. According to police, a car headed northbound had stopped for the construction there and another car hit it from behind. The second vehicle had to be towed, police say, and its driver was issued a written warning. At 5:55 p.m., police received a report of burglary to two vehicles at a home on Shaker Road. Loose change and a $10 pair of sunglasses was missing from the cars, according to police. Police have no suspects in the incident. At 8 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man with a backpack sitting on a stone wall in the area of Stow and Eldridge roads. The responding officer reported finding nothing.

At 9:33 p.m., a caller reported seeing cars parked at the Hildreth Elementary School. It was parents night at the school and some parents hadn’t left yet, police say.
Thursday, September 15
At 11:52 a.m., police checked a vehicle parked at the Rollstone Bank & Trust on Ayer Road. There was nothing suspicious, police say. At 4:57 p.m., a resident of Stow Road told police a vehicle was parked in the neighbors’ driveway while the neighbors were away. Police checked the home and reported everything was in order.
Friday, September 16
At 2:49 p.m., police responded to a residential burglar alarm on Candleberry Lane. The responding officer reported seeing a car driving away from the residence as he approached, but nothing was out of order. Shortly after, at 3 p.m., police investigated a suspicious vehicle, also on Candleberry Lane. The driver was a younger person, even though the car was registered to an older person, police say. Everything was in order, police report.
Saturday, September 17
At 6:09 p.m., a girl who was feeding her neighbors’ pets on Bowers Road told police she arrived at her neighbors’ house to find a man she didn’t know sitting on the front steps petting the dog. The man was taking care of the plants, police say, and the girl’s neighbors had forgotten to tell her he would be there.
Sunday, September 18
At 8:07 a.m., police investigated a motor vehicle accident on Ayer Road. According to police, a driver headed northbound had stopped and signaled a right turn into the Harvard Fall Festival grounds, and the driver in the car behind attempted to pass on the right, hitting the first car. The driver in the second car was issued a written warning for passing violation. There were no injuries and no cars had to be towed, police say. The driver of the first car was a Harvard Police officer on a detail assignment, according to police.
Monday, September 19
At 2:10 a.m., an officer investigated two buses that had open doors at Gokey & Quinn Bus Co. on Ayer Road. There had been an arson reported there a few weeks ago and police have been monitoring the area, police say. The officer checked the area and reported everything was clear. At 3:39 p.m., a medical office on Ayer Road told police that someone who had come to drop off a patient was asking odd questions. The person agreed to stop by the police station later to talk to an officer, police say.
