The Fourth of July Committee would like to thank the numerous people who gave their time and energy to make this year’s Fourth of July events so successful. At the top of the list are the Fourth of July Committee members who spent countless hours planning and carrying out this year’s activities. They include Katie Petrossi, Colin Dangle, Pam Brown, Ben Brown, Andrew Brown, Sandra Kimball, Amy Stoller, Ellen Leicher, Jill Lee, Leslie Neville, Pat Jennings, Arline Marteney, Thomas Caulfield, Betsy Starr, Ed Carter, and Peter Warren.
We also owe a big thanks to the many folks who volunteered to help sell T-shirts and manage field events, the General Store for helping sell the T-shirts, the Harvard Press, Tim Firment and Maggie Green at Fruitlands Museum, the Harvard Lions Club, the Department of Public Works, Harvard Fire Department, Harvard Police Department, and Roche Brothers. And finally, a thank-you to everyone who bought a T-shirt; we truly appreciate the support in our effort to carry on the Fourth of July activities independent of town funds. We can’t do it without you.
