Twelve-year-old Little League pitcher Scott Jarosz of Poor Farm Road pitched a perfect game Sunday, June 26, in the Holden Invitation Summer Baseball Tournament against Worcester’s Jesse Burkett Team. In the six-inning contest, Jarosz threw 68 pitches, struck out 10 batters, and had one unassisted out in the sixth inning, to bring his Harvard Little League team to a 5-0 victory.
The achievement drew the attention of Fox News, which sent a reporter to interview Jarosz. The interview aired on Fox25 Monday night.
“How do you feel?” the reporter asked. “You made history!”
Jarosz answered, “It was pretty fun.”
Harvard now sits at the top of the standings board with three wins.
