At 11:09 a.m. a caller asked police to check on his brother-in-law, who was staying at his Littleton Road residence. (See story, page 1.) The ambulance took a man to Emerson Hospital from an Ayer Road address at 3:06 p.m. A caller reported at 4:55 p.m. that a red pickup truck had been parked at the corner of Oak Hill and Slough roads for more than 30 minutes.
Wednesday, April 13
An officer on patrol at 9:49 p.m. stopped to investigate a car parked behind a building on Ayer Road, and found it belonged to someone hired by the owner to clean the building.
Thursday, April 14
At 7:50 a.m. a caller reported that there was an unoccupied car parked on the side of Shaker Road with its windows open. The car was gone when police arrived to investigate. Dunstable police called at 1:27 p.m. and asked Harvard officers to speak to a Harvard woman who had been travelling with “excessive speed” through Dunstable. The woman was not home when Harvard police went to her house; they left a message with a neighbor. At 3:09 p.m. Boxborough police asked for assistance from Harvard officers with an arrest.
Friday, April 15
An officer on patrol at 3:03 a.m. noticed an unoccupied vehicle with its doors open parked at Willard’s Farm Stand. They found it belonged to Mr. Willard and closed the doors. A caller reported at 2:20 p.m. that three people were in the Cameron Road area soliciting for a religious group. Police did not find anyone in the area. A woman called at 4:21 p.m. and said that she had been bitten on the wrist by a dog on Houghton Lane. The dog officer was notified. At 4:47 p.m. a Littleton Road resident reported hearing an alarm outside. The noise turned out to be from spraying taking place at Carlson Orchards.
Saturday, April 16
An officer on patrol at 10:53 a.m. found a road sign on the ground on Brown Road and notified the Department of Public Works.
