Hosts needed for visiting Japanese high school students
Host families are needed for a group of 30 Japanese high school students who will be visiting the Harvard area for a week in March—March 21 to 27.
Volunteer host families will have two students or one chaperone staying with them for the week. Hosts will be responsible for the students between 4 p.m. and 9 a.m., and are encouraged to make the students feel as much like part of the family as possible (assign them chores, take them grocery shopping, etc.).
The students will be busy Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each morning they will attend conversational English classes and each afternoon they will be involved in various local activities, with a full-day trip to Boston on Wednesday.
