The ambulance transported a woman from a Willow Road residence to Emerson Hospital at 4:14 p.m., and at 5:45 p.m. took a man to Emerson Hospital from a Still River Road address.

Thursday, December 16
Firefighters were called to extinguish a small brush fire on Warren Ave. at 8:13 a.m. At 8:20 a.m. a Warren Ave. resident reported that someone had struck his mailbox with an object during the night. A caller reported at 11:58 a.m. that there was an unoccupied car parked on Madigan Lane. Police checked the area and made note of the vehicle, but found no reason to be concerned.
Friday, December 17
At 11:23 a.m. someone stopped at the station to speak with an officer about hunting regulations. Someone called at 3:01 p.m. to report that kids were walking on the ice on Bare Hill Pond. Police located the youths and advised them that the ice was not safe to walk on. At 6:15 p.m. Harvard police were called to help Boxborough police with a motor vehicle stop.
Saturday, December 18
At 1:40 a.m. a Stow Road resident called to report concerns about a truck that had been lingering in the area. Police did not locate the truck. At 5:02 a.m. a Poor Farm Road resident reported that a bright light had been shining into a window in the home for at least 10 minutes. The officer who arrived to investigate determined that the bright light was from a star in the sky. At 6:47 p.m. someone reported there was mail on the ground on Orchard Hill Road. At 7:46 p.m. police were asked to aid Bolton officers at the scene of a car accident in Bolton.
Sunday, December 19
At 2:36 p.m. a caller reported concerns about an unoccupied car parked on Eldridge Road. Police checked the area and made note of the vehicle, but found no cause for concern. A caller reported at 2:49 p.m. that cars were parked in the fire lane at the elementary school. Police located the owners and asked them to move the cars. At 3:17 p.m. a man reported that while he and his wife were in their car they observed someone in another car watching them. When the wife approached the car to investigate, the car took off. She followed it and got a plate number, which she gave to police, but police could not identify the car or driver based on the number she provided. At 6:20 p.m. a Madigan Lane resident reported coming home from vacation to find that someone had gone through the mail in the mailbox. At 7:41 p.m. a Slough Road resident called to report that a neighbor was storing rebar too close to the road and that when he was driving by, some of it struck the mirror on his vehicle. He spoke to the homeowner, he said, but was not happy with the response he got. Police asked Department of Public Works Director Rich Nota to investigate to determine if the rebar was in fact on the neighbor’s property or was on the town’s right-of-way next to the road.
Monday, December 20
Police notified the animal control officer about some escaped sheep near Ayer and Old Shirley roads, reported at 8:11 a.m. At 8:29 a.m. a Candleberry Lane resident called to report that her teenage son was missing. After some investigation, police discovered that the young man had slipped out of the house to a party during the night and had spent the night at a friend’s house. At 9:30 a.m. a Littleton Road resident called with some questions about mail. At 12:32 p.m. a caller reported the possible theft of some scrap metal. The case is under investigation. At 12:42 p.m. a Sawyer Lane resident called to speak with an officer about some mail believed to have been stolen. Investigating a call at 3:47 p.m. about a suspicious pickup truck on Glenview Drive, police discovered that the truck belonged to someone working on a house on that road. However, they discovered that the man’s driver’s license had been suspended, and issued him a summons for driving with a suspended license. Ambulance and fire personnel were called to assist Mass. State Police at an accident scene on Route 2 at 10 p.m.
