Still River Road resident Richard “Danny” Powderly III, age 40, was arrested at Clinton District Court Monday, Nov. 29, on a warrant issued by the Harvard Police Department in connection with the theft of checks from the Harvard Firefighters Association, which was reported to police on Nov. 10.
He was arraigned in that case the same day he was arrested, on three counts of larceny under $250 and four counts of forgery of a check. He was also arraigned on one count of larceny over $250 in a separate case that was reported to police by a Winchendon woman on Oct. 28.
Powderly was released on bail Monday afternoon.
According to the Clerk Magistrate’s office, the pre-trial hearing for both cases is set for Dec. 27.
