DEAT asks for MassDevelopment’s Cooperation

Harvard’s Devens Economic Analysis Team (DEAT), asked selectmen to send a letter on DEAT’s behalf to MassDevelopment Chairman and CEO Robert Culver, asking for MassDevelopment’s cooperation in their analysis of Devens financial models. The letter will be signed by Board of Selectman Chairman Peter Warren and sent to Culver.

The letter describes the backgrounds of the Harvard residents on the committee and the charge to the committee by the selectmen to analyze and report on those finances. The letter goes on to state “the selectmen are asking MassDevelopment for its cooperation in supplying data and other information to the DEAT. Generally, this information concerns taxable property, existing and planned development sites, completed and planned municipal capital projects, municipal obligations relative to any environmental cleanup, Devens Utilities, housing, and other public information that may be needed as the DEAC work progresses.”
