r saw blue at the 128th annual Bolton Fair last weekend. In addition to winning blue ribbons for her sweet corn, peach jam, yellow tomatoes, striped beets, dragon tongue beans, Bartlett pears, and a container full of herbs, Turner received four Best of Show rosettes for: a pint of organic blueberries, floral window box, frame of comb honey, and 4 x 6-foot display of Friendly Crossways farm products (vegetables, herbs, jams, flowers). She was honored to receive this year’s President’s Award which is “awarded annually to a youth and an adult who has continually displayed outstanding exhibits in the hall.”
