I am writing this letter to urge fellow citizens to vote for Kirsten Wright for School Committee on May 4. I have known Kirsten for 11 years as a fellow parent picking up our children from daycare and preschool, as a spectator of sports and music recitals, and as a volunteer religious education teacher at our church.
Kirsten understands through her combined experience as an educator, volunteer, parent, and taxpayer that now, more than ever, we need fiscal responsibility and the open mindedness to achieve that end. As one who has observed her interaction with students and adults, I believe she has the capacity to communicate with patience, wit, clarity, respect, and professionalism, which are vital characteristics needed when working with others to achieve the best goals for our community.
Knowing Kirsten’s level-headedness and cool demeanor, combined with her lifelong experience as an educator, I am confident that she is qualified to serve our community well on the School Committee.
