Bromfield School students participate in 28th annual art exhibition

Twenty-four students from the Bromfield School participated in the 28th annual Regional Exhibition of Art sponsored by the Art Department at Mount Wachusett Community College. Nearly 300 students from 14 local high schools submitted an array of paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, ceramics, wall hangings, and sculptures.

Bromfield students Kathryn Oglesby, who created a serving set in clay titled “Set of White,” and Nick Kronauer, who created a large cactus sculpture in clay, were among the show’s top-10 award winners and received cash awards during a recent ceremony.

Colin Nygren, Dan Cooke, Rachel Leicher, Alexa Pappas, Laura Zupancic, Hunter Siegrist, and Aly Marteney received honorable mentions for their artwork. Other students of art teacher Julie Cook who participated in the exhibit were: Gabriella McCready, Sarah Collins, Emma Rothkopf, Vinsula Hastings, Imogen Rooney, Sarah Waldman, Leo Pero, Rebecca Kasabian, Jake Basile, Mariah Katz, Margaret Frothingham, Liz Swain, Scott Blackwell, Grace Bilodeau, and Sarah Canon.
