Candleberry Lane resident Daniel Ashley was named to the Marist College dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. Ashley, a member of the Class of 2010, is majoring in digital media.
Gettysburg College has announced that sophomore Katelyn Bigelow of Woodside Road has been placed on the deans’ list for outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2009 semester. Students placed on the dean’s listed must have a quality-point average of 3.60 or higher.
The University of Vermont has announced that two Harvard residents have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester: Bolton Road resident Katharine Bolton, a junior natural resources major in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources; and Elizabeth Dunn, also of Bolton Road, a sophomore philosophy major in the University of Vermont College of Arts & Sciences. To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.
Drew University student Dana Bowling of Brown Road has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester. In order to qualify for the dean’s list, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.4 or above.
Amelia Mazzola of Poor Farm Road has been named to the dean’s list at Fairfield University for the fall 2009 semester. Mazzola is a sophomore studying in the Charles F. Dolan School of Business.
Harvard resident Brian Morgan, class of 2012 at Connecticut College, has been named to the dean’s honors list for the 2009 fall semester. This is a recognition for students who have earned a grade-point average of at least 3.3.
