Bromfield students participated in a basketball tournament last Sunday at Special Olympics of Massachusetts Yawkey Sports Training Center. The event, which Bromfield students Rachel Leicher and Eve Karon helped organize, was a community outreach project, cosponsored by the Special Olympics and the Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Camp IF and Interfaith Youth Leadership Program. The ADL program brings together Muslim, Christian, and Jewish teenagers from across the New England Region to explore each other’s faith traditions and to develop the leadership skills needed to foster greater interfaith dialogue, understanding and respect.
