I would like to urge readers to remember to vote Tuesday, Jan. 19, in the special election for our next U.S. senator in Massachusetts. It is a really close race and one or two votes could make a difference. People can check out information about the Republican candidate, Scott Brown, at www.brownforussenate.com, or the Democratic candidate, Martha Coakley, at www.marthacoakley.com.
If people cannot get to the polls, they can vote by absentee ballot at the Town Hall up until Friday at 5 p.m.
