Town Hall to close early
The selectmen’s office issued an announcement this week stating that Town Hall will close at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23.
Marines to distribute toys
U.S. Marines will be at the Blanchard Middle School in Westford Saturday, Dec. 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to distribute toys donated to the Toys for Tots campaign for needy families in Ayer, Groton, Harvard, Littleton, Pepperell, Shirley, Townsend, Westford, Tyngsboro, Dunstable, Chelmsford, Acton, and Lancaster. People receiving toys must provide a Massachusetts driver’s license or state ID with picture and address; names and ages of children; and a birth certificate or health card for each child.
