The special state primary and town election will be held Tuesday, Dec. 8, in the Bromfield School gym.
Absentee ballots are available at the Town Clerk’s office. Any voter who will be unable to vote in person during polling hours on election day can request an absentee ballot.
The easiest way to vote absentee is to go to the Town Clerk’s office, fill out an application, and vote the ballot(s) while you are there. The Town Clerk has applications for absentee ballots, but they are also available on the website www.sec.state.ma.us/ele; click on “How to Apply for an Absentee Ballot,” then scroll down to “Absentee Ballot Application.”
The deadline to request an absentee ballot is noon the day before the election. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk before the close of polls on election day. Ballots may not be hand carried out of the office.
