The ambulance responded to a medical call on Craggs Road at 12:27 a.m., but the person with the medical issue refused treatment. An officer on patrol on Fairbank Street at 2:11 a.m. discovered traffic cones missing from a worksite, but later found that they had been relocated by the contractor. The ambulance transported a woman to Emerson Hospital from a Brown Road residence at 10:21 a.m. At 4:29 p.m. someone at a Woodside Road residence summoned the ambulance for assistance, but later refused treatment. A woman reported to police at 4:44 p.m. that, on at least two occasions while she was walking in Still River, the driver of a passing car had “laid on the horn” as it drove by her. She provided police a description of the vehicle. Police have scheduled extra patrols in the area. At 8:04 p.m. a caller reported that someone had smeared ketchup on the hood of a car parked at the high school.

Thursday, October 1
A caller on Whitney Road reported a horse loose in the area at 12:01 a.m. Police notified the owner, who retrieved the animal. At 9:42 a.m. an Ann Lees Road resident asked police to examine her deceased dog, which she believed had been shot. Police requested the assistance of the animal control officer, who determined the animal’s wounds were not from gunshots, and advised the owner to have it examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause of death. At 12:59 p.m. a Woodside Road resident reported that while she had been out of town someone had stolen items from her car, which had been left parked in her driveway. Missing items included an MP3 player and a global positioning system, together valued at more than $500. The case is under investigation. At 6 p.m. a caller reported that a resident on West Bare Hill Road was blowing leaves into the road. The officer who investigated found leaves near, but not in the road, and determined there was no issue. At 7:32 p.m. a caller reported a group of about 10 youths walking behind the fire station. Police determined it was a group of Boy Scouts taking part in an orientation. A caller reported at 8:02 p.m. that there were traffic cones all over the road in front of the high school. An officer checked the area, but found nothing in the road.
Friday, October 2
An officer on patrol on Shaker Road at 2:09 a.m. noticed that a stop sign had been knocked over and notified the Department of Public Works to restore it to its proper position. At 3:19 a.m. an officer on patrol on Fairbank Street placed traffic cones around construction equipment to keep it from being a road hazard. A Barton Road resident called at 9:44 p.m. to report that some youths had taken traffic cones from a worksite and placed them in his driveway. The responding officer returned the cones to their original location.
Saturday, October 3
The ambulance transported a woman to Leominster Hospital from an Ayer Road address at 1:39 p.m. At 6:23 p.m. a caller on Shaker Road reported that a woman in a truck was taking pictures of houses in the area. No one was in the area when an officer arrived to investigate. A Candleberry Lane resident called at 10:05 p.m. to report concerns about an occupied car parked along the road. The investigating officer found it belonged to someone who had pulled over to use a cell phone. At 10:13 p.m. an Old Littleton Road resident called to ask for help in locating a teenager who had left the house. Police later located the youth.
Sunday, October 4
At 2:20 a.m. Boxborough police asked for the assistance of Harvard officers in responding to a disturbance reported at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough. The ambulance transported a man to Nashoba Valley Medical Center from a Sherry Road address at 11:26 p.m.
Monday, October 5
At 3 p.m. a resident stopped at the station to report a past incident of vandalism to a sailboat at the town beach.
