The African Aunties would like to extend a warm thanks to the Harvard Ecumenical Youth Group for hosting a coffeehouse to benefit Kenyan Monicah Kivaa’s education at Assumption College. The African Aunties is a local charity dedicated to helping women from Africa reach their full potential through higher education. We would like to acknowledge the fantastic talent that was on display at last Thursday’s event by Harvard’s diverse and first-rate performers. Because of the enthusiasm and altruism of the Harvard youth and the generous contributions of attendees, everyone enjoyed a wonderful night and $400 was raised for Monicah’s education. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard and who came out to support this event.
