Voter information: It takes a village

May 1, 2009

Many people, groups, and places in Harvard help to make information available to townspeople in preparation for Annual Town Meeting and town elections. The League of Women Voters of Harvard expresses special thanks to the following:

Librarian Mary Wilson and the library staff, for assistance in the use of Volunteers Hall for the three Harvard 101 programs; Chairman Pat Natoli and other members of the Cable Committee for videotaping the programs and scheduling them on Harvard’s cable stations; Town Moderator Bob Eubank for review of the League’s ‘Guide to Town Meeting’ information sheet; Town Clerk Janet Vellante for providing accurate information on town meeting and elections; Harvard Press publishers and staff, for cosponsoring the candidates’ debate; candidates for public office for their willingness to run for office; and finally, townspeople who came out for the candidates’ debate, or any of the other Harvard 101 informational meetings.
