Selectmen seek volunteers
The Board of Selectmen seeks volunteers to work on Harvard’s Planned Production Plan, which provides guidance for the creation of affordable housing in the community. The Department of Housing and Community Development requires towns to update or rewrite their plans every five years. Harvard’s current plan was submitted to the state in December 2004.
With technology issues forming a steadily larger part of town discussion, the Board of Selectmen hopes to create a Technology Advisory Committee. Board members noted that town residents have a wealth of expertise in this area. Selectman Tim Clark will be arranging a round-table session on the topic in the near future.
