Plans by the Harvard Press to relocate its offices to the third floor of the General Store have been put on hold temporarily while questions about the move’s impact on the store’s septic system are sorted out.
General Store owner Adam Horowitz told the Press he had discussed the planned move with a representative of the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health. “We’ve been advised that we’re constrained because of the potential impact on the store’s septic system,” he said, adding that he was disappointed in the opinion. “It once again highlights the sensitivity around anything related to sewer in town center.”
Horowitz said he and the other Press owners, Lisa Aciukewicz and Worth Robbins, are investigating the options in light of the feedback from the health agency.
