Wednesday, January 7: Police received a report of a minor car accident on West Bare Hill road at 9 p.m.
Thursday, January 8: State police asked Harvard police to investigate a two-car accident on Route 2 eastbound at 7:34 a.m. The accident was minor; no citations were issued and no tow was required. At 10:25 a.m. state police asked Harvard to respond to a report of a tractor-trailer driver on Route 2 complaining of neck pain. The ambulance took the man to Leominster Hospital. Two sets of keys were found and turned in at the transfer station at 1:20 p.m. At 3:47 p.m. police responded to an accident on Ann Lee Road, where a UPS truck slid into a car. The woman driving the car was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. Police cited the truck driver for driving too fast for prevailing road conditions, and both vehicles were towed. A West Bare Hill Road resident reported at 7:23 p.m. that smoke was coming from her stove, but she couldn’t detect the source of the smoke. Fire personnel found that the stove was defective and removed it from the premises.
Friday, January 9: At 9:02 a.m. a caller notified police of a car parked in an unsafe location on Littleton Road. The driver was asked to move the vehicle. The ambulance transported a woman from a Prospect Hill Road address to Emerson Hospital at 5:35 p.m.
Saturday, January 10: At 10:53 a.m. a caller reported that a telephone pole was leaning over near Stow and Slough roads. Police notified Verizon. A Department of Public Works employee called the station at 10:23 p.m. to report that some youths were tampering with a stop sign on the Common. Police did not locate the youths.
Sunday, January 11: The ambulance took a woman from a Bolton Road address to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 3:05 p.m. Police responded to a call reporting a car off the road on Pinnacle Road at 9:05 p.m. There were no injuries; a Triple A wrecker pulled the vehicle out.
Monday, January 12: The ambulance took a woman from a Brown Road address to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 5:12 p.m.
