Harvard resident Tucker Blanton was among those honored for their outstanding achievement at the annual fall athletic assembly held Dec. 9 at Middlesex School in Concord.
A captain of the boys varsity soccer team, Blanton was named All-League for outstanding performance all season and was also chosen for the NEPSAC Senior All-Star Game. Advancing from a one-win season in 2007 to an ISL record of 6–5–5 this year, Blanton’s team earned the ISL’s Fritz Weidergott Improvement Plate and the Mark H. Blood Trophy for outstanding sportsmanship. An honor student at Middlesex, Blanton is the son of Russ and Susan Blanton of Still River.
