Mitchell Mandozzi
recently competed in the Future Stars National Championship for boys gymnastics and earned a spot on the Junior National Development Team. The competition took place in Colorado Springs at the Olympic Training Center. Gymnasts from all over the country compete in regional competitions and based upon their overall scores earn the chance to compete in Colorado. There were 53 competitors in the 10-year-old division, and the top 18 were placed on the Junior National Development Team. This is Mitchell’s second year competing at the national level and the first year making the national team. Mitchell currently trains with Coach Cal Booker at New England Academy of Gymnastics in Marlborough.
