Each month the For Art’s Sake website features the works of artists from the community and stories sharing the details of how they came to be inspired toward their individual creations.
This month Judy Warner is the artist of the month on the For Art’s Sake website. Judy is well-known in town for oil and acrylic paintings of local landmarks and for her commissionable house and pet portraits. She has her paints ready to go at all times and is often drawn to old barns, houses, and scenes that capture the remaining agricultural and traditional New England landscape around the area. Judy, a Harvard resident for 35 years, lives on South Shaker Road in the Shaker sisters’ shop, where she tends to her gardens, llamas, and sheep, and has lots of great scenery to paint.
