Recently I created a Yahoo group, as an online community where local horse owners and horse lovers can post events and concerns regarding equines and equine activities, and where they can network and communicate with other horse people in the area. The URL is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/harvardhorse. Nonmembers may view messages pertaining to upcoming events, horse-related concerns, classifieds, etc. Members will have access to a database, ideally created to help identify animals in the area, emergency contact information, etc. Suggestions are welcome.
