Thanks for running with us

December 21, 2007

With the close of our race season, the Harvard Road Race Association would like to thank all of our sponsors. Without their help we would not have been able to stage these great races for the town. We hope that we lived up to our reputation of offering runners a chance to challenge themselves with great courses, presenting them with beautiful scenery, and enabling them to walk away from the experience feeling as though they won, whether they finished first or last. We take pride in providing an enjoyable experience for everyone, every time they run.

Our success this year has enabled us to provide a number of local groups and charities with some much-needed support, including the Joshua Frase Foundation, funding research for all neuromuscular diseases, the Harvard Ambulance Squad, and the Harvard Lions Club, to name a few.

We would also like to thank the Harvard Police Department for its help, all the volunteers that worked on race days, the Fourth of July Committee for its help and Fruitlands Museums for hosting us.
Thanks to our sponsors: Dr. James J. Hammond, DMD; Dr. Peter E. Billia Dentistry; Harvard Chiropractic/Dr. Terry Anelons; Fitchburg Savings Bank; Roche Bros. supermarkets; Acton Medical Associates, PC; Marx Running and Fitness Center; Clinton Savings Bank; Concord Oil Company, Inc.; Corrugated Packaging, Inc.; Goldsmith, Prest & Ringwall, Inc.; North Middlesex Savings Bank; Sorrento’s Brick Oven Pizzeria; Shepherd Veterinary Clinic; Community Newspaper Company; StratBridge, Inc.; Carlson Orchards; and Phil’s Cider.

John Lee, race director
On behalf of the race committee
