The Bromfield Class of 1987 celebrated its 20-year high school reunion over Columbus Day weekend in Harvard. As part of the festivities, we toured the school and the newly renovated library. We were so impressed by the work and community effort that went into both of these projects. We wanted to express our gratitude to Mary Wilson, director of the Harvard Public Library, for linking us into Roy Moffa, Library Building Committee co-chairman. Roy took time from his day on Saturday to open the library to our class and to give us an incredibly informative tour. We would also like to thank Jim O’Shea, principal of The Bromfield School, for linking us into Kayti Bigelow and Emily Jones, both present Bromfield students. Kayti and Emily took us on a tour through the middle and high schools. It was truly a walk down memory lane. A tremendous thank-you to the Bromfield peer leaders, Amelia Mazzola, and Gary Fernandez, for catering a spectacular brunch. It was great to see all the teachers and staff that joined us at our farewell brunch. One of our classmates summed up the weekend perfectly when she said, “I fell in love with Harvard all over again this weekend.” Thanks to all who helped make our reunion so special.
