Melissa Marteney of Ayer Road won first prize for her Purple Pie in the berry division of the baked goods contest at Carlisle’s Old Home Day celebration at Great Brook Farm State Park Saturday, June 30. The pie, an original recipe Marteney created, is a combination of plums and blueberries in a homemade crust.
