An iPod found on Willow Road was turned in to the station at 8:34 a.m. The ambulance took a Blanchard Road woman to Nashoba Valley Medical Center at 12:54 p.m. A camera was reported stolen from a Bromfield student at 5:38 p.m.
Wednesday, May 30
At 10:55 a.m., the ambulance took a Depot Road man to Nashoba. A wallet was found and returned to the owner at 3 p.m. A Harvard man requested help from police at 6:12 p.m. about a civil dispute with an Ayer man over work contracted to be done. A neighbor reported a pickup truck “with kids hanging off the sides” on Myrick Lane at 7:58 p.m. The officer investigating found the driver and spoke to him about the matter. An ATV and a motorcycle parked on Littleton County Road attracted the notice of a neighbor at 9:15 p.m. Police located the motorists in a field nearby and asked them to move along. A woman walking on Woodside Road noticed a parked car with two young men laughing and joking while the car’s interior lights were on and reported this activity to dispatch at 9:29 p.m. The car in question was gone by the time police arrived.
Thursday, May 31
At 1:30 p.m., Stow police asked Harvard police to be on the lookout for a man who had violated a restraining order in their jurisdiction. Police did not locate the man in Harvard. Someone reported a car obstructing traffic at the intersection of Pond Road and Mass. Avenue at 9:42 a.m., but police could not locate the car when they arrived to investigate. A Harvard woman came into the station at 1:07 p.m to talk to an officer about a ticket her daughter had received earlier in the day. A Littleton Road resident reported hearing the sound of a mailbox being smashed at 10:39 p.m. Police checked the area and discovered a number of vandalized mailboxes.
Friday, June 1
A man out walking on Oak Hill Road reported two newly vandalized mailboxes near the intersection of Oak Hill and Old Littleton roads at 6:31 a.m. Someone reported a minor fender-bender in a private parking lot on Fairbank Street at 8:06 a.m. At 10:24 a.m., a man reported fraudulent use of his credit card by someone unknown to him in Florida. A tractor-trailer driven by a man from Windsor rear-ended a Fitchburg man traveling north on Ayer Road just before 12:28 p.m. The car was completely crushed up to the front passenger compartment, Castro said, and while there was no apparent injury, the driver was taken to Nashoba as a precaution. His car was towed from the scene. An ailing man at the Sportsman’s Club was taken to Nashoba at 2:04 p.m. At 4:33 p.m., a Harvard woman came into the station to talk to an officer about an ongoing domestic dispute.
Saturday, June 2
A Finn Road woman was taken to Emerson Hospital at 12:44 a.m. At 4:47 a.m., a West Bare Hill Road homeowner called police to report that some youngsters walking by his house had set his newspapers on fire. Police located the miscreant children walking on Bolton Road a short time later. A wallet was found and turned into the station at 9:11 a.m. A Harvard resident reported “kids running in and out of the road” on Bolton Road at 7:25 p.m. Police found the children and spoke with their parents.
Sunday, June 3
A Mass. Avenue resident called police to report screeching tires at 4:14 a.m., but the car had disappeared by the time officers arrived. At 8:51 a.m., a Lovers Lane homeowner called police to report that her daughter was missing; the daughter returned home shortly afterward. Responding to a call at 11:03 a.m. about a suspicious-looking car on Depot Road, police investigated and said that they believe the people in the car were involved in some sort of illegal drug activity, but no further details were available. An Old Littleton Road resident called police to report another mailbox vandalism at 12:44 p.m.
Monday, June 4
The owner of an Ayer Road business called police at 10:21 a.m. to report that the business’s previous owner had paid an unwelcome visit. A car accident occurred just before 10:04 p.m. on Old Littleton Road, but no details were available at press time.
