The next decade will be a difficult and challenging one for Harvard, Excerpt from Henry S. Nourse’s “History of the Town of Harvard Massachusetts 1732–1893,” written in 1894. for our schools, for our elderly on fixed incomes, for the basic beauty and character of the town. Fiscally, it will be a very rocky road.
Which is why next month’s election is so important. The town needs elected officials with intelligence, sound ideas, and the ability and persistence to get things done. A person who is primarily concerned about Harvard and its citizens—and not other groups or party affiliation.
For these reasons, we support Tim Clark for selectman. A thoughtful person, with vision, he has the proven talent to get things done. For example, we cite his lead in developing the Town Master Plan and getting it approved and his work on town center planning. Masterful.
And so if you are concerned about Harvard and its future, as we are, we urge your support and vote for Tim Clark as selectman April 3.
