The Woman’s Business Network will hold its next meeting on Thursday, September 10 at 6:30 pm at Holy Trinity Parish (St. Theresa Church) downstairs in the church hall on Still River Road in Harvard MA. We will have a presentation by Leia Owen, Marketing and Business Consultant, on Best Practices for Use of AI in Your Business.
AI is everywhere right now, and depending on who you ask, it’s either going to solve every business problem you’ve ever had or completely change the world as we know it. The reality for most small businesses and busy professionals is a lot more practical: AI can be an incredibly helpful tool when you know what to use, how to use it, and when not to use it.
In this approachable, real-world presentation, Leia will walk through some of the most common AI apps, platforms, and features businesses are encountering today and share practical ways to put them to work. We’ll look at how AI can help with brainstorming, writing, research, organization, content creation, administrative tasks, data, meetings, customer communication, and some of the repetitive work that tends to eat up far more of your day than it should.
We’ll also talk about the less exciting, but very important, stuff: accuracy, privacy, quality control, keeping your own voice, knowing what information you should and shouldn’t hand over to AI, and recognizing when doing something the “faster” way might actually create more work.
The goal isn’t to automate your entire business or add 15 new apps to your toolbox. It’s to identify a few smart, realistic ways AI can fit into the work you’re already doing... helping you improve your workflows, get some time back, and hopefully save a little of your sanity along the way.
