The excitement is building as we bring SPARC to life — our fusion machine is now almost 80% complete, and we want to share with you our progress making it! We're opening our doors for an up-close tour of SPARC, which will be the first commercially relevant machine to demonstrate net fusion energy, a key achievement called Q>1 in scientific circles. We’ve been busy installing the magnets manufactured at our Devens factory and preparing the vacuum vessel that’ll house our plasma, and we’ve begun operating the SPARC support systems.

Join us at our headquarters at 117 Hospital Rd, Devens, MA on Thursday, September 10, 2026 for this behind-the-scenes experience. We'll start welcoming registered guests at 4:45 p.m., and the event will conclude at the completion of your tour. Please note that doors close at 5:15 p.m. and latecomers won’t be allowed into the building after that time.

Space is limited, so don't wait to save your spot! Click the title above or this link to RSVP.

A quick heads up on the logistics:

  • You’ll need a government issued ID to enter the building.
  • You'll be visiting an active construction site. That means stairs and no elevator access.
  • Long pants are required — no dresses, skirts, or shorts.
  • Proper footwear is very important on site. Closed toe shoes are required — no sandals, ballet flats, or high heels. For your safety, guests may not be allowed to tour if they aren’t properly dressed.
  • Guests must be 18 or older to register.
  • All guests must be registered in advance.
  • First come, first served.
