The fall varsity sports season finally got underway this week as Bromfield athletes began formal practices to prepare for their six weeks of interscholastic competition. The school will field six teams: boys and girls soccer, boys and girls cross-country, field hockey, and golf. In addition, Bromfield Acton-Boxborough rowers are training in singles on Bare Hill Pond and hope to compete virtually with local and regional high school teams. (See story to left.) The first event of the season is a Friday afternoon golf matchup with Marlborough High School.
