The Mass. Association of Conservation Commissions (MACC) has announced that Liz Allard, Harvard’s conservation administrator, has successfully completed the MACC advanced certificate training program, the only comprehensive program in the state offered to conservation commissioners.
The goal of the program is to build the legal, technical, and scientific expertise of conservation commissioners, as well as to enhance leadership and negotiation skills in order to carry out responsibilities such as administering the Wetlands Protection Act and open space planning and protection.
